Novaspect’s multi-factor authentication solution for Industrial Control Systems provides an additional layer of protection for your industrial control system. Traditional login methods based on passwords are prone to hacking and can fail due to weak or compromised passwords. By using a smart card and PIN, Novaspect’s multi-factor authentication solution provides a more secure authentication method that is less vulnerable to hacking attempts. To use the multi-factor authentication system, users are required to present a hardware token, generally in the form of a smart card, along with a short PIN.
